Where to find us

Pacific Harbour Marina, 41 Harbour Promenade Bankisa Beach.  Please note the office in the Marina does not belong to us, please head straight to our boarding gate which when facing the water is the last gate to your right and is clearly signed Ferryman Cruises.


Pacific Harbor Marina has ample free car parking facilities, at the request of the the Marina Management the only car park we are allowed to use  is the gravel car park located to the right when facing the water.

What to bring

Water, Hat, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Binoculars, cash if you wish to make on board purchases, Wind Jacket (any time of year, it gets cool on the water) and Camera

Boarding Time

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled cruise departure time.  The gates will open 15 minutes prior to your departure time for you to board the boat.  Please do not be late.  For the enjoyment of all guests, we cannot delay our departure for any late arrivals. We therefore recommend you allow sufficient time for travel.


Please note there may be access limitations for guests with mobility issues. We strongly recommend you speak with our booking office prior to your cruise to seek advice. The stairs on our vessel can be an issue for some people with mobility issues. Please phone 0408 214 980


Please advise  the office at time of booking if infants are travelling with you, please note that as infants are travelling free we do not provide any catering for them, it’s advised you bring something along with you. If you would like us to provide catering for your infant this will need to be pre-arranged and a small catering fee is charged please call 0408 214 980 to order.  Please note we do not have pram space on the vessel, please leave them behind.

Dietary Requirements

If you have  dietary requirements please advise our booking office at least 48hrs prior to your cruise and we will try to accommodate your needs where possible. We cannot be held responsible for consumption/ cross contamination with regards to allergies or dietary requirements. Food allergies must be advised on booking. Any dietary requirement must be pre-booked at time of reservation.

Dress Code

Smart/neat casual attire. Please wear appropriate footwear – High heels are not suitable for the Ferryman vessel, jetty or the boardwalk.


Ferryman Cruises photographers may be present on cruises, tours, functions and charters and will take photographs which may be used in marketing material produced by Ferryman Cruises. If you do not wish to be included in photographs of this nature, please advise the photographer at the time or crew member on board your cruise.


Australian and QLD law requires you to be 18 years or over to be served alcoholic beverages. At no time will any person exhibiting the following, be admitted onto, or served alcohol on the vessel: is intoxicated (as per the RSA); is aggressive, quarrelsome or disorderly; is, or is suspected of being, under the influence or in possession of any illicit substance; is found soliciting from patrons or staff. We reserve the right to refuse admission / boarding to any passenger deemed to be in breach of QLD RSA guidelines, in this instance NO REFUND will be given in part or full. PLEASE NOTE: As we are a licensed venue BYO alcohol is not permitted on the boat.

Making changes to your cruise

Within 72 hours
All cruise tickets are 100% non-refundable but may be transferred at our discretion, a $10 administration fee is payable.  Please note that no changes (change of date, reduction in passenger numbers) can be made within 72 hours of your cruise departure as we spend considerable time and effort in our forward planning of our cruises. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Cancellation by Ferryman Cruises

In respect to any cancellation of a charter or function by Ferryman Cruises, due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, we will endeavour to re-schedule the cruise within 6 months of the date that was cancelled or offer a full refund.

Changes to the Cruise

We reserve the right to amend vessels, menu, cruise route or any other aspect of your cruise where necessary and without notice.  Cruises are subject to minimum numbers and tours may be cancelled or schedules may change (with or without notice) for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to, bad weather conditions, technical disruptions or unforeseen circumstances. We will not be responsible for paying costs or expenses you may incur as a result of the change of time or cancellation.

Missed Departures

Unfortunately refunds or transfers are not permitted due to a missed departure. We strongly recommend that you check travel/traffic conditions on the day of your departure.


Only the Skipper of the MV Ferryman has the right to cancel a cruise, should there be any weather concerns we will get in touch with you. No refunds will be given to those who decide not to attend due to weather conditions.
