Bribie Island, located only 40 minutes north of Brisbane Airport and the Sunshine Coast, is known for its sensational beaches, coastal waterways, arts, culture, food, and laid back nature.

To immerse yourself in the best of Bribie Island, you must not pass the opportunity to relish in nature’s wonderland the Pumicestone Passage. While enjoying your Morning Tea, Captains Lunch or Sunset Cruise, you will travel into the heart of the Pumicestone Passage which is steeped in history, rich in wildlife and natural beauty.

On your cruise you will get to experience the historic trails sailed by Mathew Flinders and hear all the amazing history and culture with the Skippers live commentary. Be sure to keep a keen eye out for the local sea birds, dolphins, dugong and sea turtles that have made this area home.

A 5-Star Bribie Island Experience

Welcoming Captain and Assistant, beautiful views to take in everywhere with interesting commentary!

Today the weather was sparkling and the water a bit choppy. The Captain of this comfy ferry was very knowledgable regarding local history and wildlife. You can see 180 degrees from the inside, the land and seascape changes often. We traversed up on top deck for a few photos and also a viewing deck out front! We enjoyed a lovely lunch of lovely Roast Beef, Ham, and 3 fresh, tasty salads, with French bread and butter. Beautiful way to experience the Island from the water looking in; passing wee local townships, mangroves, so much more and the Marina. Beautifully clean modern Ferry!

Morning Tea Cruise

I organised a Morning tea cruise for a party of 11 friends and we were all looking forward to it so much. It didn’t disappoint . We were late due to a major incident on the motorway but Jeannine kept in contact and reassured me that they would wait which took a lot of stress off me. On arrival we boarded promptly and our hostess for the day was Nicole who was so warm and welcoming . We started with a glass of bubbles purchased from the “tea room” and this was followed by tea or coffee and scones jam and cream which were delicious. Nicole efficiently handled everything. It was a beautiful day and the skipper pointed out high lights on the way. We unfortunately didn’t see any dugongs or dolphins but the experience was so much fun it didn’t really matter. Our two hour cruise was up far too soon . Value for money this is the best thing I have done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend . Will definitely do a lunch cruise and dinner cruise .

Beyond amazing!!!

We had the best experience on the Ferryman Sunset Cruise. We came across a pod of dolphins, turtle, jumping fish and the bird life was amazing. The sunset was beyond amazing. I totally recommend this cruise to anyone.

Exceptional Day

We enjoyed a Xmas lunch cruise to celebrate the end of the year with our management team. The food, the crew & the cruise were all exceptional. Scott & Nicole were incredibly friendly and honestly couldn’t do enough for us. From start to finish, working with the Ferryman owners Mike & Jeannine was such a pleasure.

Magical!

Magical! That’s the best word I can use to describe our lunchtime Ferryman Cruise! The staff were amazing and the food was awesome - even enough for second helpings. But the most magical part was the dolphins swimming so close to the boat you could almost reach out and touch them! The Captain safely maneuvered the boat, sometimes coming to a complete standstill, so we could watch them for almost the entire cruise. There were so many, including mothers and babies! The way the boat is designed, everyone on board was able to watch them no matter where you were. The cruise catered for my pescatarian diet - thank you! I also have a physical disability and was a bit concerned beforehand but I needn’t have worried at all. The boat was very accessible and I had no trouble whatsoever. The Captains knowledge of the area was great and we really learned some new things about the area. All staff were so friendly and obliging we really felt like part of the family for those few magical hours. I would thoroughly recommend this outing to tourists and locals alike.
