Do you cruise every day? No. We have a summer and winter schedule. Please check the cruise calendar on our website for availability. Cruise Calendar

How long does the cruise go for? Cruises run for 2 hours.  Sometimes we are back 15 minutes late if we are marvelling at the local wildlife or spot a dugong.

Where does the cruise leave from? Cruises depart from Pacific Harbour Marina on Bribie Island. The address is 41 Harbour Promenade Banksia Beach.  VIEW IN GOOGLE MAPS

How do I get to Bribie Island? If you are driving, please use GPS or mapping services and allow for traffic conditions. To book return transfers from Brisbane phone 0411 550 040. If you prefer public transport, please use Translink Journey Planner for train and bus schedules. To book a Bribie Taxi phone 07 3408 9700.

What time do we need to be there? Arrive 20 minutes before your cruise departure time.

Is there parking? Yes, there is ample, free parking in front of our boarding gate. Our allocated carpark is the gravel carpark to the right of the Marina office.

Where do we meet? Please meet at our boarding gate (it’s signed Ferryman Cruises). When facing the water, it’s the last gate on the right. The Skipper will open the gate 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Are cruises subject to minimum passenger numbers? Yes. We need 15 passengers on our public cruises to guarantee departure.

Do you cancel if the weather is bad? We cruise rain or shine, however if the Skipper deems it unsafe to cruise we will cancel and re-schedule to an alternate date. If you are unable to attend the new cruise date you will be offered a gift card or full refund.

What should I bring? Sun hat, and a jacket as it can get cool on the water any time of year.

Will I get seasick?  None of our guests have reported getting seasick. If you are concerned, please speak to us prior to your cruise. Our vessel is purpose built for smooth water cruising.  We always travel in the protected waterways of the Pumicestone Passage.

Are there toilets on board? Yes, we have 2 roomy toilets.

Where will I sit? Our vessel has 52 comfy padded seats. They are undercover and protected from the weather. You will be close to the water but won’t get wet and you will have 180 degree views. There is a viewing area at the front of the boat that’s perfect for taking that special photo. Upstairs there are 18 seats on the open-air viewing deck offering amazing 360 degree views.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Do you serve food onboard? Yes, all our regular cruises include food. Either a light snack, Devonshire Tea, Captain’s Lunch, Dinner or Seafood share plate.

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restrictions? It is essential that you notify us at time of booking of any food allergies/dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate your needs (GFO/DFO/VGO/VO).

Can I buy drinks? Yes, there is a fully licensed bar available on all cruises. We have Eftpos onboard and accept cash, credit/debit cards. NB: NO BYO.

 

PAYMENTS & BOOKINGS

Can I just turn up and pay at the boat? No, bookings are essential.

How can I pay? Credit and debt card payments can be made via our secure online booking system.  For cash/cheque payments please call reservations on 0408 214 980.  Book Now

Why won’t your booking system let me book on a cruise?

  • the cruise is closed & fully booked. Please email or call to be waitlisted.
  • we are operating a private charter cruise that day.
  • the upcoming cruise schedule has not been released yet.

Is there an online booking fee? Yes, a fee is charged per ticket by our online booking platform. As a small business, we are unable to absorb this fee however we keep our cruise prices very affordable and good value for money.

Do you offer concession rates? Yes. We offer concession rates for seniors, companion card holders and their careers (senior rates) on the Captain’s lunch cruise.

Do you have a family discount? Yes, we do provide a discount for children (4-16yrs) and families.  Infants 0-3 years travel for free but you must book a ticket for them, so they are added to our manifest.

Can I get a group discount? Yes, groups travel with us all the time and we offer discounts for small groups of 15 + passengers and large groups of 25+ passengers. Please call reservations 0408 214 980 for further information.

Can I hire the boat for a private cruise? Yes, we love customising cruises just for you! We are flexible with departure times and cruise lengths. Please call us on PH: 0408 241 980 to chat about your next event.

 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

What happens if I don’t want to cruise? If you give us 72 hours notice prior to your cruise you can reschedule to another date or receive a credit. If 72 hours to 24 hours notice is given a 50% cancellation fee applies.

There are no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of your cruise, or if you decide not to show up.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

What is the access like from the carpark to your boat? From the carpark, it’s a 20 metre walk across grass, to our boarding gate. Down a fully enclosed wooden ramp to the water level. Follow the flat, concrete boardwalk approximately 50 metres to reach our boat.

Can I bring my wheelie walker on the boat? Yes. Please advise us when booking. There are 2 steps with handrails into our boat. We will stow your wheelie walker on-board while cruising. You can hold onto the row seating when walking around the boat.

What is your accessibility for wheelchairs?  We have a foldable ramp (without sides or handrails) for wheelchair access. Please ring us before booking to discuss your individual accessibility requirements.  The aisle between the row seating is quite narrow and may be difficult to negotiate depending on the size of your wheelchair. We can accommodate two manual wheelchairs on our cruises.

Can I bring a pram on board? Yes, just notify us at the time of booking and we will allocate a pram park next to your seat.

Can I bring my service/assistance dog on board? Yes, service or assistance dogs wearing authorised jackets are welcome. Please notify us at the time of booking.
