Cruises aboard ‘The Ferryman’ gives you the chance of seeing Dugong, Dolphins, Turtle, Jabiru, Swans, Sea Eagles, Osprey, Kangaroos and Dingoes as well as many of the 360 different bird species – many of which migrate from the Northern Hemisphere to these shores each year. This marine park is on the CAMBA and JAMBA agreements and is a registered RAMSAR site.

Our Environmental Stance

We love our environment and want to protect it as well as show it off!

We are aware that our vessel & business leaves a carbon footprint and to counteract that we are actively planting sufficient numbers of natives trees inthe Bribie area each year to neutralise our effects on our environment.

We also shop locally, which then supports the local community and cuts down transport costs and pollution.

We re-cycle wherever possible.

We use bio-degradable products wherever possible.  Our cleaning products are all Australian Made and sourced locally, and made from such natural ingredients as chamomile and sphagnum.

We educate others by example and through our cruises, on the importance of living with nature and looking after it.

We are involved with 'Clean Up Australia' Day - we provide the Ferryman vessel and staff free for 'Clean Up Australia' Day and spend the day with those interested in helping to clean up this magnificent waterway.  Each year we have collected more than 50 bags of rubbish over a 3 hour period. We only get to cover about 1 km in this time due to tide/time so imagine how much rubbish must be out there in the other many kilometres of shoreline left!
