Cruises aboard ‘The Ferryman’ gives you the chance of seeing Dugong, Dolphins, Turtle, Jabiru, Swans, Sea Eagles, Osprey, Kangaroos and Dingoes as well as many of the 360 different bird species – many of which migrate from the Northern Hemisphere to these shores each year. This marine park is on the CAMBA and JAMBA agreements and is a registered RAMSAR site.

Ecology Excursions

We offer smooth-water charters for school groups of a 1½ or 2 hr cruise and provide a worksheet for teachers to copy and give to their students prior to the cruise.

Commentary given throughout the cruise then covers these questions on the student's worksheet.  This can be modified to suit your curriculum - just let us know.

COST FOR A 1½ HOUR CRUISE IS $12.50 PER PERSON (includes GST) with an invoice being able to be provided to the school for payment. Minimum number required is 20 passengers.

COST FOR A 2 HOUR CRUISE IS $14.50 PER PERSON (includes GST). Minimum number required is 20 passengers.

THESE CRUISES ARE KEPT PURELY FOR THE SCHOOL GROUP AND NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
