Group Booking Information
We provide the PERFECT outing for social groups, family get-togethers, re-unions and special interest groups. The range of groups that cruise with us regularly include Probus, National Seniors, Garden Clubs, Bird Watchers, Nature Lovers, Slimmers Groups, View Clubs, Networking Groups, Retirement Villages, and the list goes on.
TO ORGANISE A GROUP CHARTER WITH US:
Your group (of 10 or more) chooses the particular cruise that you would like to join. Go to our PRICING page to check our range of cruises, what is included, and prices relevant to the number of seats you would like to book.
The more you have in your group, the cheaper it gets per person.
Then check out our Current Cruise Schedule to check if a date is available for your group charter or if you wish to join another cruise already scheduled.
Then contact us (via our online Booking/Enquiry form or call us direct - M-F 9am-3pm) to book the cruise that your group would like, the date and the number of seats you are after.
This cruise is then listed as a public cruise, but you have first option as to how many seats you are wanting on that cruise.
If you have less than 30 in your group, we request at least 1 month's notice, and for a Sunset Cruise during the week, we require a minimum of 20 passengers.
For groups of 30 or more - your coach driver can cruise with us at no charge. Just let us know if he/she is joining us when you confirm your numbers to us.
Thursdays we only have the 3Hr Devonshire Tea cruise, which Groups are welcome to join.
(Should you wish to have the vessel for your sole use, you would require a PRIVATE CHARTER.)
Terms of Trade – GROUP CHARTERS In all cases the Ferryman reserves the right to apply the following schedule of fees in addition to any fees imposed by the various operators and service providers.
PAYMENT in full to be finalised on the day of the charter, unless by prior arrangement.
For less than 30 people in the group, we request one month's notice please.
· ONE PAYMENT ONLY on the day please.
· LATE CANCELLATION COSTS: Should you cancel your booking within two (2) days of cruise date, an invoice will be issued for any catering costs incurred.
· Children 5 years and over are charged at the same rate as adults. Children under 5 years travel at no charge. Number of children under 5 years must still be advised with confirmation of final passenger numbers.
· FINAL PASSENGER NUMBERS: These must be advised five (5) days prior to your cruise to allow for catering to be arranged.
· FINAL PASSENGER NUMBERS PAYMENT: Payment on the day will be for the number of passengers advised at confirmation of the cruise which is five (5) days prior to cruise date, regardless if your passenger numbers are less on the day, and price per person will be relative to confirmation number and as per group pricing structure. (We suggest each person in your group {if paying individually} pays you prior to the day to ensure their attendance, as once your numbers are confirmed, this is the number that must be paid for on the day.)
· ‘Ferryman Cruises’ reserves the right to add additional passengers to charter groups where passenger numbers are below the survey limit, ie 68 passengers and 2 crew.
· All charters are subject to weather conditions. Should there be any weather issues, groups are contacted the afternoon prior to advise if cruise is unsafe to proceed – no charges apply should this occur.
The Ferryman cruise vessel is a fully liquor licensed vessel and the current liquor law requires the distribution of alcoholic on the vessel to be under the control of the master of the vessel. No beverages are to be brought aboard.
