Cruises for Locals, Tourists, Individuals and families

Each week, on a Thursday, we run a 3 hour Devonshire Tea Cruise departing at 9.30am sharp and the last Saturday of each month we run a 3hr Sunset Special Cruise - timed to see the sun set over the Glass House Mountains.  We suggest a minimum cruise of 3 hours to truly appreciate the magnificence of this Marine Park.

Our other public cruises such as the Kids Cruise, the 'Skids' Adventure Cruise, or morning tea, lunch, fireworks, or Canal Christmas Lights cruises are scheduled depending on demand and time of year.  Check our Cruise Schedule for all cruises currently on our books.  This is updated regularly as cruises are scheduled.

Other cruises are scheduled each week according to charters and demand.  Check our 'Cruise Schedule' for dates and cruises available.

Experience the natural beauty of the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park, see the majestic Glasshouse Mountains and visit many areas only accessible by ‘The Ferryman’. These living waterways are home to dugongs, dolphins, turtles, dingoes, jabiru, sea eagles, osprey and many of the 360 species of birds recorded in this area – some migrating each year from the Northern Hemisphere.

‘The Ferryman’ travels up the Pumicestone Passage which runs between Bribie Island and the mainland towards Caloundra and takes in the shipwreck of the SS Avon, then the township of Toorbul, and follows the channel that Mathew Flinders found over two hundred years ago which takes you past the township of Donnybrook.

During the cruise we provide commentary relating to the area covering the local history, both aboriginal and European, the local environment and the fauna and flora.

Depending on the length of the cruise we may enter the area known as Tripcony Bight which is the oldest registered fish habitat area in Queensland. This section of the cruise gives you the opportunity of a possible sighting of Thomas Martin Tripcony's original chimney stack built in the 1860's or take in Mission Point or have morning tea in Glass Mountain Creek - the creek Matthew Flinders navigated when he climbed Mount Beerburrum in July 1799 at the age of 25.

All the time we are cruising past these wonderful sights we will be keeping an eye out for such wonderful creatures as Dugongs, Dolphins, Turtles, Sea Eagles, Dingoes, and many of the different bird species.

Try our Skids Cruise - an all day adventure, or  a decadent Devonshire Morning Tea Cruise. For the romantic there is the beautiful Sunset Cruise. We have even got a special Kids Cruise  which is run through School Holidays if there is a demand, and other cruises can be designed to suit your needs. Check our cruise schedule and great prices-there is something for everyone.

The Pumicestone Passage Marine Park, from the southern entrance to the Caloundra bar at the north, is just over 35 kilometres long via the channels and has a surface area of 63sq kilometres. The marine park has 24 islands and is bounded by 240 kilometres of shoreline.
