Cruises aboard ‘The Ferryman’ gives you the chance of seeing Dugong, Dolphins, Turtle, Jabiru, Swans, Sea Eagles, Osprey, Kangaroos and Dingoes as well as many of the 360 different bird species – many of which migrate from the Northern Hemisphere to these shores each year. This marine park is on the CAMBA and JAMBA agreements and is a registered RAMSAR site.

What We Do

Ferryman Cruises provide Eco cruises of the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park. Throughout our cruises commentary is provided that relates to the environmental significance of this amazing area, it's relationship to the catchment as well as the Aboriginal and European history and the scene as it is today. We are proud of our environmental stance and aim to be carbon neutral.

Every Thursday we run a 3 hour Devonshire Tea Cruise boarding at 9.15am for a 9.30am departure and the last Saturday of each month we do a wonderful 3hr Sunset Special cruise which is timed to suit the sunset on the day.  Simple nibble platters are provided (NTO A MEAL) and drinks can be purchased on board.  We are fully licensed.  Most Mondays we also run a 3 hr Buffet Lunch Cruise departing at 11.30am.   For locals (from Bribie, Sandstonte Point, Ningi, Bribie Pines, Toorbul, Donnybrook) and any friends or family they bring withthem we offer a special price of $40pp (normally $52).

Other cruises are scheduled each week depending on charter bookings and demand/time of year.

Our other public cruises such as the Kids Cruise, the 'Skids' Adventure Cruise, or morning tea, lunch, fireworks, or Canal Christmas Lights cruises are scheduled depending on demand and time of year.  Check our Cruise Schedule for all cruises currently on our books.  This is updated weekly as cruises are booked or scheduled. 

We are predominantly a charter boat business as opposed to a 'Tourism' cruise business (that relies on day visitors and cruises daily).   We rely on groups (12 or more) joining our cruises with seats then available for others to join us.  This ensures the cruise will then go ahead.  We do not cruise every day - Bribie is still relatively quiet compared to Gold or Sunshine Coast so we do not get enough visitors to the island to offer our tours on a daily basis. 

If there is a date and a cruise you would like to join, please let us know and if we have enough interest we can schedule this cruise and advise you.

CATERING:  Gluten Free & vegetarians can be catered for, however we ask for 24 HOURS NOTICE AT LEAST, to ensure we can provide you with an alternative.  If we are not advised within this time, we cannot guarantee what we can offer.  We fresh cater for all our cruises.

We suggest a minimum of a 3 hour cruise to really experience and appreciate this amazing waterway.
